Hi, I am a 20 year old female with very few serious medical conditions. I tend to get a lot of colds but I ve been quite healthy this year. I am not currently down with a cold or sinus problem.
Two days ago, very suddenly, a scab grew in my right nostril. When I removed it, a larger piece grew back within 10 minutes. It is also quite painful to remove. The piece I saw was bright yellow and smelled foully, slightly like rotten bananas. While I try to leave the scabs there, hoping they will eventually fall off by themselves, there is enough in my nose that its causing discomfort and nasal blockage. It s not accompanied by any noticeable swelling or redness on the outside of my nose. On the first day, I suffered a headache along with the growing of the scab though I m not sure the two relate. Please help!
