Yellow Vaginal Discharge, Smelly Urine. Suffering From Diabetics, Taking Medication. Any Ideas?
I have diabetes & urinate constantly. I take glipizide, lantus, & metformin. I also take sertraline, topiramate, & prozosin. I have no pain or burning when I urinate, but I have a yellow vaginal discharge and very smelly urine. do you think I have a urine infecton or some other kind of infection? I am not sexually active. I will be going to urgency care in the next few days. again I am not in any kind of pain or discomfort & do not itch. Thank you
Hello, If you are diabetic and urinating constantly, then it means you may be having uncontrolled diabetes.Yellow vaginal discharge and smelly urine points towards a posdible yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. You must consult a Gynecologist and get a vaginal swab culture along with urine culture and then a proper course of antibiotic shall make the things all right. Other most important thing to do is to control your diabetes well. Uncontrolled diabetes results in proliferation if both urinary tract infection and vaginal yeast infections. Consult your doctor for either revision of dose or change of anti diabetic medications. You must do regular aerobic exercises for 45 minutes a day and observe complete diet control. Thanks
