Zaps In Heart While Laying Down

Hello, I am a 29 year old male and once and a while when I am laying down sleeping I get like these little zaps in my heart . I will feel the zap and then it stops and then couple seconds later does it again. This will go on until I literally get put of the bed and walk around or actually have to take a shower. I will get these episodesonce every couple weeks sometimes months

Hello and welcome to HCM
I am a General Physician and read your mail in detail. As per your mail you get relief by taking shower so their are more chances that your problem is related to heart issue like AF (Atrial fibrillation) or PSVT.
Do your EKG at the time of episode or consult your cardiologist. If needed go for holter examination. Holter is a 24 hours record of heart beats in EKG pattern. With this we get to know what happens to the rate of heart during episode.
The frequency of the episode are very frequent so you need to get treatment as early as possible.
Consult your cardiologist near you and get your treatment started.
