Zit Like Bump On The Back Of Neck Towards Shoulder With Fluid Build Up. Cystic Acne?

So i am a hypochondriac so i automatically think the worse of things. I have a zit like bump on the back of my neck more towards the shoulder on the right side. It s semi big it feel bigger more underneath the bump as if there is some sort of fluid built up. It s hard too, and I have yet to see a head form. It s tender and hurts around the area. Could this be cystic acne? My dad thinks it s a blocked sweat gland

Hi,

It seems that you may be having acne keloidalis nuche.

They are acne like lesions occuring on back of the neck.

The disease occurs fom hair follicle.

There may be scarring like keloid.

Application of retinoic acid gel in low strenght would be helpful.

Cap. tretinoin 10 mg daily at night and cap. minocycline 50 mg daily in morning for few months may be taken.

Intralesional steroid injection would enhance the recovery.

Avoid worries.

Stress can increase your disease,so avoid stress.
