Zit Under Skin In Ear That Caused Ear Swelling After Oozing, Later Lymph Node Swelling, Fatigue, Sore Throat. Alarming Sign?

In my left ear, I thought there was a zit underneath the skin causing a bump to form that was sensitive to the touch. The next day the lump started oozing and my entire ear has swollen up. Then on the third day my lymph node directly behind my left ear has swollen up and is hard and hot. I have extreme fatigue , and body aches and my throat is becoming sore, but no fever or chillls. Is this cause for alarm and to go into a Dr., or is this nothing and will go away with time.

hello and welcome to HCM,

By reading through your problems it seems like an infected lymph node or an infected soft tissue swelling which is common in that area.

But any mass or swelling has to be properly examined by the ENT and only then we can be perfectly sure that you are fine.
So consult an ENT, ask for a proper examination and maybe request for a FNAC or biopsy to confirm the diagnosis
Also start a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications in consultation with your doctor to control your pain and swelling.

ps: even scalp lesions can cause the nodes to be enlarged like this which can be confirmed by the ENT
