Dear Doctor. I Had My Iud Copper Inserted On Wednesday

dear doctor. i had my iud copper inserted on wednesday june 1st around 5pm..and the doctor that did it told me that i would have spotting for about two days.however its been more than two days and i know some women can bleed for a longer period of time.eg i am still bleeding and to me its more like a light period than spotting.My question is how much longer can i expect to bleed like this?and what if this bleeding continues like this for weeks nonstop or even months?.i am not experiencing any pain maybe just a little tender lower belly to the touch ..and i keep having to change pads every few hours...had i known this would of been the after result i probably wont have done it..but of course every woman's body is different...i was only trying to do it the hormone free way..i am 5'4 and 114 pounds very petite..any suggestions ?please and thank you helppp
