Hat Causes Soreness And Itching Sensation On The Right Knee?

Yesterday I was kneeling on the floor and when I got up my right knee was sore and itchy with a raised lump, almost as if I had been bitten by an insect. I couldn t see an insect anywhere and it felt more like it was something from inside rather than a bite. It only really hurt when I touched it so I left it alone and forgot about it until this morning when I got up and found a really dark black bruise about the size of a 10p. The bruise doesn t hurt at all, not even when prodded, but it was so pronounced that I would like to find out what it is.

Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can also be due to any ruptured muscle or tendon fiber or strain during kneeling down. A bruise can be a sequence of that.

However, for reassurance, orthopedic surgeon review and X-ray of joint may be needed. Cold application for bruise may be helpful. OTC analgesics like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be helpful for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
