Hello My Question Is My Pediatrician Stated My Baby's Head

hello my question is my pediatrician stated my baby's head cirmcumference is slow and a ct scan is necessary to ensure his skull is developing correctly he was born on May 31 2015 and at birth is measurements were 6lbs 8 oz 20 in in length and 13 in head circumference now at his two month check up he is 9 lbs 13.5 oz 22.5 in length and 14 in head circumference he is recommending a ct scan stating his head growth is too small and he may need surgery what is your opinion?
