Hiya I Dropped The Metal Head Of A Hoover On

hiya i dropped the metal head of a hoover on my foot,about 12" x 4" weighing 4kg.it broke the skin on the inside of my foot but i have pain like tooth ache,i cannot find a comfortable position to rest it.my veins look like vicarious veins in this foot and is slightly swollen,walking is difficult especially when i raise it in stepping.this was 6hrs ago and am dreading going to bed.what can i do to support it and ease the pain?
