Hypertention Vs. Heart Rate Confution

i have extreamly high blood pressure but the doctors cant give me anything for it because i am also bradycardic (slow heart rate) after reading about hepertesntion and how its treated i find that blood pressure is controled by changing cardiac output. if this is true than how can i be bradycardic but still have extreamly high blood pressure? my numbers are heartrate 47-54 and b.p. is 158/90 to 235/94 i get long pauses in my heart rate wile falling asleep and lots of pvc's wile awake. not sure if that means anything. im just relly confused. based on what i read about these issues im gathering that its clinicly impossible to have numbers like this. im just curious if sombody could clearify these numbers for me so i can stop being confused. thanx!! oh the blood pressure is also postural. thare is a severe increas in blood pressure upon standing. the lnger i stay on my feet the higher it gets. i was diagnosed with having postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome a year ago i have ben bed riddin for about the same amount of time. im no longer tachycardic but i still have orthostatic intolerance. not sue to hypotention either. posibly a vasovagal related intolerance.

Er HYPERTENSION CONFUSION??? Though they do interact blood pressure and pulse are controlled independantly as well and there is no contradiction between your raised BP and slow pulse rate results. There are a plethora of blood pressure medications that are either pulse neutral, or in fact increase pulse rates, nifedipine would be a good example.
