I Have A Pacemaker 18months Ago I Am Still Intermitantly

i have a pacemaker 18months ago i am still intermitantly having attacks of serious fibulations the sotalol pills dont do much plus covercil tabs . the doctor now wants to do abalatio 7 i wonder if this will give me still the same trouble later or anymore trouble is it worth having thisdone if it still does not fix it &will it be detrimental later on... i had the 2 channel pace maker will it be safe to burn the muscle as to the future or what thanks for a help. thelma hogan
