I Have A Sharp Pain About 3 Inches Below My

i have a sharp pain about 3 inches below my belly botton on the left side. I also have a dull ache in my pelvic area below this sharp pain. I also have it in the right side of my pelvic area. It runs just below the line of my underwear elastic - i am male). If i push and prod the area, I get a lot of gas. A couple of months ago I had blood in my faceas which was bright red in colour. I went to the doctor and they told me it was hemorroids and a little cut on the outer part of the anus. I went to see the doctor last week about this pain in the pelvic area and they have referred me for a scan. What could this be?. I have no change in bowel movements and no blood in the faceas.
