I Took My Cat To Vet For A Cough That

i took my Cat to vet for a cough that they used to give it a shot every 3 months or so. on my recent visit a new vet gave my cat 2 shots and Aventi Clav 5 mg one tablet every 12 hours for 7 days and Nova-Pheniram 4mg every 12 hours for 7 days I could not really communicate with this Vet due to language problems. can you advise my Cat is 11 years old and I believe she has asthma.
