i would like to know if surgery is required for this report homogenously enhancing lobulated extra axial dural based mass lesion noted in left parasagital region causing indentation if adjacent left posterior gyri with perilesional white matter edema

Hi Roopa.

Parasaggital Meningioma with indentation of the adjacent left posterior gyri and with peri-lesional white matter edema suggests mass lesion with compression of the underlying.

The only definitive treatment would be Surgical Excision.
In this case, surgery is definitely indicated at its compressing the underlying brain.
