Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am taking overal L for postponing the period since two days. today is third day. I am not remebering the today s pill is taken or not. If double pill is taken, I am afraid if period will start. Still three days I want to potpone the period for home function. also I am afraid if today s pill not taken, period will start ?
You can take one more pill to make up for the missed pill.Do not worry. This will not resume your periods. But kindly do not repeat the same in the following days.
Avoid missing a pill or taking it irregularly at different time of the day, since this will alter your hormonal levels and cause menstrual irregularities.
Continue the pill for the prescribed days and stop for your withdrawal bleed to occur.Kindly come back if you have any more queries.Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards Dr.Saranya Ramadoss, General and Family Physician
