My 6yo Grandson Was Just Dx With CMV. Symptoms Include

my 6yo grandson was just dx with CMV. Symptoms include fatigue, cough, sore throat, fever first week only (this is week 3) pallor and loss of appetite and weight. Is this common in children? Aside from treating bronchitis with antibiotics is there any other treatment?
