My Husband Had A Stroke On 4/25/2014 - And They

my husband had a stroke on 4/25/2014 - and they have increased his Gabapentin now to 3 100mg twice a day once in am and and bedtime - trying to help him cut down on meds (weight issues) is this better to just take at bedtime? he has not had any seizures since his stroke (that was only while in the hospital), his only pain is his lower back (L4L5S1 - from previous injury - cannot do surgery at this time so he is on a Fentanyl patch for that), so if Gabapentin is also for nerve pain i cannot get a good answer just saying dont change - but he is so groggy sometimes (before stroke he only took Tylenol) thank you Denise YYYY@YYYY
