My Husband Is On Plavix And Would Like To Get

my husband is on Plavix and would like to get off of it, he also takes a low dose aspirin. Last November, he had an angiogram, he had a small percentage of blockage in a large artery. Which the doctor doesn't seen to think it's too bad. He doesn't have any stents he hasn't had any heart attacks. Sometimes he has chest pains and the doctor said it could be a sign of things to come. He is on blood pressure medication which helps keep his blood pressure under control. Is it safe to get off of the Plavix and should he be weaned off of it?
