My Husband Went To Dentist For Tooth Pain Not A

my husband went to dentist for tooth pain not a throbbing pain but a real pain now and then. The dentist said it as probably his wisdom tooth and gave him hydrocodone bitartrate/acetaminophen 325 mg. Reading the warnings is very scarey. if he has to take one can he cut it in half? another thing it says manufacturer is tris pharma inc but don't see it on the list of manufacturers on internet. We did get the prescription at a pharmacy.
