My Husband's Co Worker Just Called Me Concerned Because My

my husband's co worker just called me concerned because my husband (55 today) had an episode where he was light headed, his lips went numb and his left eye wandered off in the opposite direction of his right eye
we don't have a primary dr, the symptoms passed and he won't go to ER. We are traveling to Costa Rica on Saturday for a week vacation and I would really like to know if these symptoms are serious that he should be checked out before we leave - he's very stubborn
He has been having some back/neck issues in the last few months. The only med he takes is for acid reflux and advil for neck pain
