Newborn Has A Running Nose

I have a newborn that is 2 weeks old and has a running nose. The mucus is thick and yellowish-green. What should I do?

Take him to his pediatrician, the color of the mucus indicates some infection..get it treated else there are the chances that the infection will affect the lungs also, before it gets worse and leads to pnemonia, he needs to be started on antibiotics.
