Pap Smear,sore Labia,more Discharge,red And Tender,spotting,birth Control
I got a pap smear last wednesday and had sex that night. My labia was been sore since and now its Sunday. I have had more discharge than usual too. I thought it maybe it was my underwear , so I tried different kinds. It does not itch , but it is tender to touch, and does not hurt to pee. It is also more red then usual. What could this be?, I also was spotting a few days before my pap, because I am on the 3 month birth control.
Hi,
you didn't mentioned what was your pap smear report.
Anyhow by using oral contraceptives the side effects you can have are,
Excessive leukorrhea which may be responsible for your discharge.
breakthrough bleeding which you may thought as spotting.
Luekorrhea should be taken pathological only when it is more in quantity,
associated with bad smell and itching,
staining undergarments, need to wear pads.
If above symptoms are not there no need to worry.
But as you are telling that tenderness to touch is there and erythema is there you better visit gynecologist along with pap smear report and get examined.
take care
