Should One Be Tested For STD When Partner S Results Are All Negative?

Me and my ex wife had unprotected sex frequently for about 5 years. She got tested when we first started dating and a month ago and came up negative for all sti s and HIV. I haven t been with anyone else since we broke up so is there any need for me to gwt tested?

I went through your details. I don't know the reason for which your partner got tested for HIV. There must be some compulsions. In your case too, if there are compulsions, you could get tested. If you do not have any compulsions, and if you are fairly sure that you did not indulge in any unprotected sexual activities, there is no need for any test. But remember HIV spreads not only through sexual contact but also through blood transfusion.
