Suggest Cause For Chest Pain In Elderly Men

Hi my husband is 54 yrs old and had chest pain on the left side and now say his arm is hurting all the way down to his fingers and the back of his head and above his left eye is hurting he was eating dinner when this stared and said he was starting to feel sick

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should immediately take your husband to follow hospital and rule out ischemic heart disease (IHD).
At his age of 54 his symptoms like left sided chest pain, radiating pain to left arm and hand, feeling sick etc are more suggestive of heart attack (IHD).
So consult cardiologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of heart, blood pressure
2. Ecg
3. 2d echo
4. Coronary angiography.
All these are required for the diagnosis of IHD and other heart diseases.
Prompt diagnosis and early treatment are required in heart diseases otherwise they can be life threatening.
So better not to wait at home and consult cardiologist immediately.
