This in turn can cause disturbance in balance. Other problems of difficulty in swallowing, and hearing loss can be due to other local or EN reasons and need proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like MRI of brain and cervical spine and of the mastoids to find out the offending cause and get at the proper diagnosis to have proper treatment. Till then give rest to the neck. get Audiometry done. Take anti-inflammatory medicines with painkiller properties like Ibuprofen and other symptomatic treatment.
