I have a friend that just had a liver biopsy. He came back with the results of minimal inflammation, mild fibrosis and hemosiderosis. What is the cause, treatment, and is there a cure?

Hemosiderosis refers to accumalation of iron. They occur due to iron overload probably due to a type of hemolytic anaemia or secondary to multiple blood transfusion.. depending on what the cause is the treatment varies... You may need drug known as chelating drugs if needed along with treatment of the cause...
