What Causes Bleeding During And After Intercourse Post A Total Vaginal Hysterectomy?

I had a total vaginal hysterectomy in April 2015. I had some bleeding recently during and after intercourse. The bleeding was bright red and continued for 4 hours, although it was not heavy like my previous menstrual cycles. Is this normal or do I need to see my OBGYN?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the bleeding p/v during and after the coitus then condition need to be taken seriously if it is hysterectomy done and better to get done ultrasonography test till then it is advisable to avoid coitus, it could be some lesion inside the genital organ, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
