What Causes Heaviness In Left Arm And Sudden Drowsiness?

I am 32, almost 33 year old female. Yesterday my left arm felt really heavy from the shoulder to the elbow. I also became extremely sleepy. The sleepiness lasted about 30 to 45 minutes. Afterwards and all through today, I have had no sense of pain, loss of appetite, feeling of walking on a cloud. I have had hip pain since I was 14, which has been a constant daily pain for about 10 years now. Also i injured my shoulder about a year ago that bothers me on a daily basis. All of that pain is suddenly gone. I have been on Norg-Ethin Estra for about 2 1/2 weeks now. I have been a smoker for nearly 19 years. I am getting concerned.
