ENT Specialist 's  Response
Ringing sensation in ear is a symptom not a disease and many a times there is no obvious pathology present. It can be caused by problem in external ear, middle ear or inner part of the ear and even case of nerve damage. In your since you suffered facial trauma, there may be chances of ear trauma too.Get your ears evaluated by an ENT physician and get an audiogram (hearing test) done.
Treatment will depend according to the pathology. There are many medications available.Place an alarm clock next to your head while sleeping. The tic tic sound of clock will mask your ringing sensation.
