What Could Tender Spots In Calf Be?
I am 32 years old and mother of 2. I just noticed a tender spot on my left calf toward the end of the muscle belly. It did not hurt until I touched it with a washcloth while taking a shower. I am not on the birth control pill and have not been for about 5 years. Could it be a DVT?

It seems to me to be a localised collection of pus, giving rise to swelling and pain. It needs a course of antibiotics.
If it becomes big, it might need drainage by incision or aspiration.
