Whiteness In Gum's, Thicker Toungue, Reduced Gutkha, Applying Glycrine. Healing Time?

Hi,
I was trying to quit gutkha since april '13, by reducing the quantity. Finally,I quit successfully 20 days ago. I can put 2 fingers completely in my mouth now. Whiteness in my mouth is reducing specially on GUMs. I don't have any pain or irritation in my mouth as i was experiencing earlier.
I am taking Becasules and applying glycrine on effected area daily.
I think my tongue is little thick than normal and doesn't come out completely, not sure it was like this earlier or not. Will it also be fix by the time? how long will it take to remove complete whitness inside my cheeks?

thanks

Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello,
You need to see an ENT specialist or Oral Maxillo Facial surgeon immediately to ensure the whiteness in your cheeks is not something to worry about.
Also fungal infection is a possibility, with a reduced immune system, so a swab for testing or a physical examination of the inside of your mouth is important.

Antifungal therapy can be tried if the whiteness is indicative of a fungal infection, but a biopsy will be more important if not.
STOP chewing gutkha immediately.

Best Wishes.
