Cytomel

What is Cytomel?

Cytomel is a form of thyroid hormone. It is liothyronine and it resembles T3 hormone. Its action and side effect are similar to those of hyperthyroidism. It is used in the treatment of obesity but in not very effective in euthyroid patients.
