Dr. Bonnie Berger-Durnbaugh has a wonderful "bedside" manner in that she not only answered my questions in a caring way, but gave me additional information about a prescribed medication. Unfortunately my family doctor "forgot" I just cannot swallow capsules/pills, and ordered a medication in capsule form that cannot be opened and mixed with food. I then had to call the doctor "on call" who really doesn't know me well, and he changed the medication to another antibiotic, but that antibiotic isn't as effective as the first and is a stronger antibiotic (which we all know is our last resort. After talking to Dr. Durnbaugh, I learned that the original medication DID come in liquid form (although I'm told it's a bit nasty to swallow lol). None the less, neither my pharmacist nor my family on-call physician MENTIONED the option that the first med was available in suspension form......So the $15.00 for her advice was MORE than worth it! PS. Remember to cancel he ongoing monthly charge.
