Dr. Stanko quickly got me on the road to helping my son who has been suffering from staph aureus for two years. Otherwise very healthy, he acquired the infection at a Connecticut hospital immediately after double hernia surgery. He has been getting awful pus filled painful boils all over his body. The hospital denies responsibility. Antibiotics helped for a while but then he couldn't afford them and became depressed. Nobody seemed interested in helping him and he was convinced he was stuck with this for life. Dr. Stanko assured me that staph aureus is curable, and what tests should be done to make sure he gets the right treatment. We getting an appointment with the infectious disease department at Lahey Hospital in Burlington Mass., which treats diseases like MERSA. I am confident he will recover. Dr. Stanko has been a Godsend. Thank you!
