Dr. llirl, Thank you for your thorough and helpful answer. I was better prepared to listen and ask questions in my cardiology appointment today. My cardiologists recommended the steps you discussed. I will be getting a monitor and meeting with a cardiac electrophysiologist. Looks like an ablation and probably a pacemaker are in my future. My cardiologist, like you, recommended that I go to an emergency room if I have another episode like the one yesterday. Thanks for your excellent answer.
