I have no knowledge of this lab test being done before; hence no prior level established. I plan to share your reply with my primary care physician and then decide the best course of action to take. I am currently down to my last dose of the med, so this may be a matter of timing. Given my limited information, your advice is an excellent response. Thank you.

When I got to the Doctor. She diagnosed me with pneumonia and a bladder infection.She prescribed cipro.and rest.That was three days ago and I'm feeling better. You were perfect Dr.

I had pretty much diagnosed myself, but it was reassuring that the Dr. Zografakis agreed with my assessment of an allergic reaction that had caused my lip to swell and that it was not serious and should be helped by an antihistamine. I took the antihistamine and the swelling went down and my lip returned to normal in two days. I will also not eat raw apples in the future!
