Brief Answer: Better Neurologist than I could find in my fairly large city. Detailed Answer: I had been labelled with "somatoform disorder" for years because there was supposedly "no medical explanation" for my symptoms. Over the last 25 years, I have been to fi ve neurologists who kicked me to the curb without a single test, one theet performed an NCV, and finally was able to get an MRI from the seventh but couldn't get a straight answer about the large number of (too many to count) lesions found in my brain. I came to Healthcare Magic as what they call in football a "hail mary pass" -- I didn't know if it would help, but at this point was willing to try anything as long as the cost was affordable..... Dr. Kumar is more knowledgeable than my local doctor and wasn't going to "cover for" any referring physician who misdiagnosed me. He explained that with the results I have there are two possible explanations. In either case, the damage to my brain is the cause of my symptoms. Dr. Kumar also helped me understand my prognosis and suggested lifestyle and medical changes to discuss with my primary care doctor. He also explained the difficult news that my condition will not likely improve, but with these changes it is possible that I may not get worse. I asked Dr. Kumar a lot of questions. Many more than I felt comfortable with for the price that Healtcare Magic charges. I kept apologizing because I felt so guilty using up his extremely valuable time. Dr. Kumar always responded that it was his pleasure to help! The bottom line is that I trust Dr. Kumar more than any of the doctors I have seen in the last 25 years. I couldn't make a stronger endorsement than that. I tried to give Dr. Kamur all the stars in the sky, but they stopped me at five.
