Dr. Chandrakant, your answer was a relief to me. Thank you. The swelling is now almost gone. I still take a Benadryl at bedtime and have had no other reactions.

Info was right on target. I took him to the ER on Sat and they put him on antibiotics and told me to continue the soaks and dressing. Today 4 days later it is almost healed. Thanks for the help.
