The doctor's advice was most helpful and led to relief for my painful sternum. I had never heard of a xyphoid process, much less what to do to alleviate the pain! Dr. Chandrakant saved me a much higher cost of a doctor visit and was "spot on" with the diagnosis!!

I followed your advice after purchasing the povidone iodine, and it is working out fine. I let it dry before covering it lightly with non-stick sterile pad and it is healing fine. No sign of infection. I have to cover the burn because of its location, on my hand below my right thumb, and I use it all the time . . . thus the light covering. Thank you for the assistance.
