Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

It sounds like you are generally very healthy. Your blood pressure is under relatively good control as well. Regarding your symptoms of feeling dizzy when looking down there are a couple of considerations.

One possibility is that you might be experiencing some inflammation of the inner ear canal otherwise referred to as Labrynthitis. This can sometimes cause dizziness with change in position of the head. your symptoms are not classic for this particular possibility however.

Another possibility is that with looking down there is pressure on the blood vessels in your neck which may decrease blood flow. This might cause symptoms in a situation where there is some degree of blockage of the blood flow of the arteries. The carotid artery's supply a significant model blood flow to the brain and if you have some type of blockage or narrowing of the blood vessels including the carotid artery's this could cause a sensation of dizziness with change in position of the neck.

I think it would be very helpful for you to see your primary care doctor for a focused consultation and physical examination. He can examine the arteries of your neck and listen with a stethoscope to see if there is any evidence of narrowing of blood flow.

If it seems that your symptoms are related more towards an inner ear problem your doctor can prescribe medication that might help to alleviate the inflammation and your symptoms.

thank you again for sending the question.

Sincerely,
