Question : Hi i woke up last night with severe stomach pain. Been to the toilet for 7 times but normal stool. Could this be a stomach flu i dont have fever or anything. I suffer from endometriosis so could this be why i have pain
Brief Answer:
Pain due to endometriosis probably.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
Stomach flu usually has some more accompanying symptoms like watery/bloody diarrhea, cramps, nausea/vomiting, fever.
As you had normal stools, I do not think this to be a stomach flu. However, if you have more gastric symptoms (which I mentioned above), it would suggest a stomach flu. You can consult your physician then for stool examination.
I think the pain could be due to endometriosis.
You can take an antispasmodic like dicyclomine (prescription drug).
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.
