Are Vomiting, Diarrhea And Stomach Pain Signs Of Food Poison?

Question : I believe I had a bout of food poisoning last night. Vomiting first and then diarrhea. In the past after this I have felt weak but after a good night sleep I was fine. Not the case this time. I have nagging pain in my stomach and when I feel the urge to go all that has been passing is bright red blood. Haven't eaten anything so I don't have anything to void. The blood looks mucous like.
Can you tell me what this could be?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Diarrhea and bowel cramps followed by bloody stools and mucus is like a gastroenteritis and or dysentery and needs immediate rehydration, antibiotics and diet life style modifications. Visit a doctor, they will run some stool tests, have bowel functions analysed, prescribe you soem good antibiotics and other supportive care medicines and then along with it you stick to BRAT diet( banana, rice, applesauce , toast) pomegranate juices, herbal tea etc and wait and see. I am sure it will subside in a couple of days.
