Can Autrin Cause Black Stools?

Question : I am using autrin capsule and observed stools in black color after the first day use. Is it expected or do i need to stop the medicine?

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that whenever you take iron supplements a much of the iron will evade absorption and that will cause the stool to be dark coloured. It is normal and nothing to get concerned about. You need not stop the medicine. However, you need to drink plenty of water.
