Hi there,

There are no research trials that demonstrate the benefits of DMSO for arthritis, and therefore, it is not routinely used for arthritis. However, it is analgesic, as an anti-inflammatory, and an antioxidant so theoretically it should work well for arthritis, but it has not shown that benefit in clinical trials.
