Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.

I think you should test with a x ray of the knee.
You will need to test x ray knee AP and Lateral.
If already tested, I would like to know the report.
Its possible that this is osteoarthritis.

As for gabapentin, its commonly given for neurogenic pain, not for arthritis pain.
So we will need to wait for the x ray and see if it helps us find the cause of the pain.
If its not arthritis, gabapentin may help.
If its arthritis, your medicines will need a change probably.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Feel free to contact us with a follow up query if you need any clarification.

Best of luck,
Dr Mittal
