Brief Answer:
both drugs may cause diarrhea

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

there are no interactions between glipizide and lamotrigine but both drugs may (individually) cause diarrhea in as many as 10% of patients taking them. I can't say whether your wife's diarrhea is related to the drugs but it is possible... In any case before attributing a symptom to the drugs you should first check the following:
- if the symptoms clearly started after initiating the drug
- if the symptoms resolved or improved after stopping a drug
- if the symptoms reoccurred after re-instituting the drug
- if no other explanation is valid (for example another drug, supplement or disease causing diarrhea)

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
