Brief Answer:
Chances of HIV transmission is unlikely through inanimate object

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Transmission of HIV through inanimate object is negligible.
HIV can not be viable outside the body fluids not more than few seconds. So you need not worry about the same. Even if we assume that some amount of body fluid (blood of an infected individual) remain over that object, transmission is unlikely as you did not have any injury in your hand. Not to get anxious and nothing to worry.

Brief Answer:
Risk is remote

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Needle is also like that of any inanimate object. Prick by a needle also long time after contamination (thrown over ground) has only negligible risk for HIV.
Feeling of unwell is due to your psychological sickness due to phobia or anxiety.
Not to worry.

Brief Answer:
Chances of acquiring HIV is remote

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
You simply forget about that incident.
You need not recollect which finger got touched etc.
It is a very remote possibility (one in million) for anybody to acquire HIV in this mode. If you can not ignore the same have a psychiatric consultation.

Brief Answer:
Whatever might be the object, not to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back
Your question has not related to health care. Black coated needle is available. It might be a broken part of a sharp object like fork. Whatever it might be, you need not worry about handling the same.
