Question : what is the life expectancy of Kids born with Hiv (untreated)?

I had possible exposure in 2009 (hand job, mutual mastubration). I was told that mutual mastubration , even with body fluids are no-risk. So , I did not even go for testing.

in 2012, I had un-protected sex with my wife and delivered baby in 2013. My daughter is now 3 years and looking healthy.

what if I had hiv in 2009 and spread to my wife in 2013 to my baby? my daughter is now 3 and perfectly healthy. does it mean that she is free from HIV?

HIV is not transmitted by skin to skin contact or masturbation or hand job. There was no risk exposure. lf no other risk exposure the chances of HIV is nil.
You are Unlikely to transmit HIV to your wife and so to your child.Your healthy child and wife implies they are likely free from HIV.

Usually it is mandatory that all pregnant women be tested for HIV . So if she was positive it would have been known.Moreover mother and even child will be given drugs to prevent HIV transmission if she was found HIV positive.

The life expectancy of HIV children is as normal child with good treatment and care.

usually what will be the life expectancy of the children born with hiv(with no treatment) ?

For my wife, HIv test was optional at pregancy and for no reason we opted out the test(may be we opted out by mistake).

In 2009 when I had doubt, I spoke to couple of experts and came to know that hand-to-genital even with some vaginal fluids is not risk, but things might have changed since 2009.

Can you please confirm if the girl had some of her pre-cum on her hand when she did hand job, is it not risky?

The HIV newborn children if untreated ,can progress to AIDS stage and can die by 9-10 years in 80% cases.In 20% children they may die by 3-4 years.

HIV is not transmitted by hand job.The chances of transmission by modes described is nil.

But while doing handjob, if the girl had her veginial fluids on her hand and if her pre-cum gets in contact while doing hand job, Is it still not risky? I know that pre-cum also can have Hiv. but is the Virus going to die immediately after exposing to Air ?
