Brief Answer:
HIV virus does not survive in open air for long.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I saw your photos in details.

From what you are describing me, and from what I am seeing in the photos, I will not worry about it.

I am not able to visualize a skin damage too.

But also, I can reassure you that it is not possible to get HIV from a needle that has been outside/in open air for some time, because the HIV virus is very delicate and gets destroyed very fast. You may get infected like that, unless there is visible fresh blood.

Hope this is helpful.
Feel free to follow up with me if you need more clarifications.

Yes, no need for testing.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Yes, I am saying you don't need to get tested, because you have not been infected from the episode that you are describing me.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry if you don't have open wounds in your mouth.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I think that if you don't have open wounds in your mouth, then there is no risk to get infections from food.

Even if the lady would have cut herself, she would not cut food without putting a bandaid.

So, I would not worry about it.

Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.

Brief Answer:
If the blood goes into your stomach it will get destroyed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Yes, I understand what you mean.
If there are no wounds in your mouth, even if she had active bleeding in her arms (which is very less possible), the blood would go in your stomach not in your blood and there it will be destroyed. There is no chance to go in the blood from the stomach.
Some viruses would even be destroyed before touching the mouth even, like HIV for example. HIV is very fragile virus so it gets transmitted only blood-blood contact.

So that is why I am not worried and want to reassure you.

If your flash in the eye is constant is is not stopping, that is the time to go to the doctor.
If it happens just once, very shortly, it might have been from any light changes around you. If it was a problem, it would be there and continue to be persistent.

Hope this makes sense and answers your question.

Brief Answer:
If your vision is ok during the day, then it is nothing to worry about.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

If it happens when you open your eyes from sleeping, then it is normal- don't worry.
Your eyes have been closed, now light enters in so that is why sometimes you have that feeling, because it all depends on the angle of the light, and the quantity.

If your vision is ok during the day, then it is nothing to worry about.

Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.
