Does Franxit Cause Side Effects?
I had a high risk sexual encounter. I had a rapid HIV test after 2 months 21 days which came negative. After that i started to fear HIV and my doctor prescribed me high dose of antidepressant Frannxit. After consuming the tab for 10 days i had this burning sensation and redness of lips. Iam living still in fear of HIV?

Franxit contains both flupenthixol and melitracen which is used to treat depression. This medicine helps by increasing the level of chemical messengers in the brain that have a calming effect on the brain and relax the nerves, thus treating your depression. Side effects of Franxit are nausea, vomiting, constipation, urinary retention, weight gain, sleepiness, orthostatic hypotension, increased heart rate, increased prolactin level in blood, blurred vision, dryness of mouth, muscle stiffness, tremor, restlessness, changes in weight, rashes, headache, drowsiness, shakiness, loss of libido, hallucinations, serious symptoms of allergic reactions such as rashes, itching, redness, swelling of lips, tongue or throat, breathing difficulties, dizziness etc. If you suffer from such type of allergic reactions, then immediately consult your doctor for medical help.
